Newly opened ice cream shop on the revamped and bigger than life Surfside Pier. Lots of unique flavors, some of which are good, some of which I guess I would call experimental? I had some called "Salty Goat", which I would highly recommend. Overall, nice little place with a friendly staff. Prices pretty good, considering where it is.

Our family had the most delightful experience at Homemade Dippys Ice Cream on Surfside Beach Fishing Pier! It’s hands down the best homemade ice cream we’ve ever had. The flavors were incredibly rich and creamy, and every bite was a treat. Cake Batter was hands down the best!! Super friendly workers. We loved it so much that we visited multiple times during our vacation. The location on the pier made it even more special, with beautiful ocean views adding to the charm. If you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this fantastic ice cream spot – it’s a must-visit!

My son has a banana pudding milkshake. He said it was delicious. The other patrons seemed happy with their selections. There was a vegan flavor and a sugar free offering. Reasonable prices. Seating is outside on the pier on the benches. We will return.

The ice cream is delicious, that’s a given. What I really loved about this place is how the staff treated the family and I. They were very friendly, smiles across their faces and they looked genuinely interested in serving the customer, which is rare to see nowadays in young ones. We will definitely be coming back more often.

8.24.24 : We stopped in here for ice cream after having dinner next door at the river city cafe. The selection was moderate, and the service was decent. Nothing really positive or negative about either of those. What I loved was that they had 2 "sugar-free" options. My bf is always trying to look for a sugar-free option, so this worked out perfectly.

When the Surfside pier was destroyed in a storm I was worried that the pier would forever miss a yummy ice cream store. I was very happy when I saw this place had opened on the new pier. We walked here from the place we were staying. The ice cream here was delicious!! The workers were super helpful as we bumbled around the store. I am especially appreciative of them giving us a bandaid after my younger brother busted his toe open on the pier.

So good that we came back for a second day. My wife and I tried this place on our second day of vacation and it was so good we brought the rest of our family here to try it as well. Location is great as you can walk down the pier after getting the ice cream. The selection is good and they have something for everyone. The staff was very inviting and helpful with any questions we had. Definitely worth checking out!

I didn't get pictures of every time we went to Drippy's but I ate more ice cream there this week than I have in a year! Delicious every time! Staff was always patient and on top of it even when it was jam packed! Every single flavor I got was delicious but the Barbie and Banana Pudding get special shout outs! Italian ice was refreshing and delicious too! A must try and well worth any wait time! Still emotionally devastated they were out of the cute pink hat, we settled for the blue. We're definitely coming back next time we're in town!
